I was wondering if anyone knows what this is. It just kind of appeared one day. This is some of Jim's LR.

if it came from jims tank it could be a hard coral. pretty neat if it is. it's like a freebe :skeezy:

Well, I guess it is doing well, because it wasn't noticeable around 2 months ago.

If it came from Jims tank, theres no tellin what it might be. A clearer, close-up would be needed for a positive ID.

Hi Bryan -
A better picture would help, my guess right now though is its either a hitchiker sponge or a type of coral. I wouldn't worry about it if it is a sponge... even the hitchiker ones are harmless. :-)
