Wild I beleive, so you may get some really cool colors. I forgot to add: These should go only to people capable of keeping anemones not someone trying them out for the first time. If we get ten or twenty of these into the club members tanks, we should be able to produce enough to cover anyone else in the club for years to come. I have one left of my own and the other one I had split 4 times and this one split once. So my original purchase of 2 for $165 plus shipping from Alvin has produced 5 total off spring. These anemones will by no means make you a bunch of money, but you could make your money back and have a couple beautiful specimens for your own pleasure! These are hands down the prettiest anemones I have ever kept, and they are one of the hardiest species. I had one go through the overflow box and was torn into 3 pieces, two survived.

Quick Question... was PM'ing with BA about these little fellas, in all my reading i have never heard of their sting will effect a human? has anyone ever heard of anyone having an allergic reaction to them? so on so forth... I am not a sickly guy... but I have bad reactions to bees and many other stinging insects (A bee or hornet will make the effected area swell like a grapefruit and put me in the hospital if I don't swig a bottle of benadryl right away.) just wondering, I am not overly concerened, just curious.

yes, still waiting. These are coming from Hong Kong, and it is a waiting game. If you order online they usually have the items in stock and can ship within a couple days. These are being collected so they are not at the wholesaler yet.... I hope they have them soon. When we got the tear drop maximas from Vietnam it took a couple months, hopefully this will not be the situation. At this price though, I'd wait a month.

Its sounds like a case of more orders than inventory. You ship what you can and string along the rest of your customers and hope you can come up with more inventory to fill the remaining orders.

I just got off the phone with ERI and they said the collector told them they had the order and were just trying to arrange the shipping to LA. It is a small feat to get livestock from Hong Kong to L.A. in under 24 hours. It sounds like we may be seeing these this week though......... :D

Sorry Jason, I got ahold of ERI today and they still don't have them. They are going to look for a new supplier. Anyone wanting a refund just let me know and I'll start the process. I can't give an exact date for arrival and I know some are getting impatient just as I am. I'm starting to think we are alot better off growing our own stuff rather than dealing with these wholesalers. When they do come I'll get a few extra so we can grow them out for future club members that would like one. I am really sorry this is taking sooooo long.

I'm Waitin Tim! The way I see it a few things will happen between now and the time it arrives:

I will be a better reefkeeper
and I will have finally replaced that power head that has a big ? mark over it for anemone safety.
Oh, and if it takes long enough, I'll have a nice 115 gallon cube for it to take up residency in!

These are all positive things, so no worries on my end. twiddling thumbs never hurt anyone!

OK, I just checked the tracking numbers and they will be delivered to the airport tomorrow at 5:20 P.M. tomorrow. I should have them at my house around 6:20 P.M. If you want to come up and get them BA that is fine, or you can wait until the next day. Although if you pick them up at 6:20 P.M. the traffic will be better..

If someone's splits and they want to sell it, I'd be interested in buying it....hehe I have an established 30L (rocks, sand, plants, etc) that I've been using for a quarantine tank...All I've ever had in it is a peppermint shrimp that I took out of the main tank cause I don't need him anymore. I want to change the lights (currently PC's) and get VHO for it...I want is a RBTA and a pair of clowns to put in it but don't have the correct lighting at this moment....Just keep me in mind if so.
