Hi All!

Does anyone have broken down pumps that you would like to get rid of? I want to try and see if any of these pumps could be rebuilt. If so, drop me a message.

Thanks,

Roy

The main reason for posting this thread was, to get old pumps and take those that were beyond repair, and make one that would work. And if parts were fairly cheap enough, to possibly rebuild one or etc.

I have a melted rio, really tough to fix. Also you can buy replacement parts for mag drives from Champion lighting.

My work background is Home Audio electronics. There have been many units that I have repaired that needed new parts, but were unavailable, or was needed as an emergency fix; CD motors, cass deck motors. These type of motors were not intended to be rebuilt. A little of tinkering and a Dremel, I can usually get them apart. As for bigger motors, they are alot easier to get into. As for melted down motors, forget it! Since some of the pumps seem to be plastic cased, if they have melted or warped, at that point they can not be repaired, but the old parts may be used to fix another.
