Black Or Blue Paint....

this my idea I want to get a superman logo to put on the back of my tank (if anyone knows a good place to get a big one I can stick to the tank I would appreciate it... ) then I want to paint the back of the tank black or blue. what do you guys think?



and of course what type of paint would be the best?

depending on the size tank, i just sandblasted my backing and bought regular spray paint from the home depot and did it that way. all the tanks ive done like that have never scratched through and it looks great. if u are going to keep higher light corals i would suggest a blue background as it reflects better light than black, however, i really like the contrast black makes in a reef tank. :)

ps has anyone ever thought of using white as a background??? i thought about that the other day and wondered if it would look good.

I prefer black. Personally I would not do the logo on the back, it will be covered and not be visible over time.

White background, that's interesting. I wonder if that would wash-out all the colors in the tank.

actually this is for a chiclid tank so no corals....

Also for a cichlid tank I would go for a black background. This will still give the fish the contrast needed to bring out their colors.

some one should have a tank where you can change the back grounds to have diff. effects. A SUPERMAN LOGO???????????????? thats a new one on me

Yea dan you don't think that be cool? look through and see the superman logo :) I just need to see where I can find one big enough.

Go to Preview, highlight the text and change the size and or color as well as many other things can be done.
