Dont know much about skimmer , however the other tunze products I have are great. Litlle pricey. I have 2 of there Stream pumps w/wavemaker. Osmolator , co2 regulator & PH controller. I dont think you could go wrong with it. Heard good things about it, just was not in market. Do you know what they rate it at Tank size? Sump drop in or no. Only thing I wonder is if big enough for good size tank. Guy who sells in Austin has on 120 looks to be working fine.

Anything tunze related is bad *****. The powerhead contraption that affixis to tank and the power head is poorly thought out if you ask me. I forgot how the skimmer is hooked up. Its all high dollar stuff. The distributer is the owner from Aquatek in Austin. His name is Roger Vitko, real nice guy easy to talk to. You ought to call him

Roger is very cool.. He knows all on tunze. He is distributor for the south region. The powerhead deal does suck but it does work. My streams I thought would eventually fall off never have. They have big power burst . 3200GPH Smooth flow. I am very happy with my Tunze poducts. All from Roger. ( Aquatek)

I love my Tunze Skimmer. Most of them seem to be rated for under 100Gal tanks. Is their a model number on yours? Mine is a 220/30. It does work great. If you need the directions I can scan them and email them to you. Roger Has a Forum at Reef Central where you can ask Tunze Questions. (http://reefcentral.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?s=&forumid=92)

I scanned just the pages for the 235/3. Give it a good soak in vinager water.

If it is one of the small ones, they work very poorly. The larger ones work well.

I used one in the past that was a 3 inch tube, about 10 inch tall and run on a small powerhead. It work terrible.

My 220/3 has worked great on my 72. I'm upgrading to a EuroReef for the 120Gal.
