What size tubing do I need to use on my Mag 5 inlet?

Depends on the nipple that you use to attach the hose to it. I am pretty sure that the tubing I'm using on mine with the nipple I have is 5/8 OD.

They don't all have nipples? Mine has a fixed nipple. How do you measure these things and choose hosing I guess should be my question

Yeah, my mag 5 is like that also I was thinking of my mag 7. The best I could think of on that one is to take it with you to HD or Lowes and try some out, it's supposed to be 1/2 inch inlet but not sure on that one either.

On that chart they are showing both inlet and outlet as being threaded but for some reason not all mag 5 inlets are threaded. Really kind of bites in my opinion, but if it has to be threaded I'd contact the company about getting a replacement faceplate with the threaded version.

Yeah, I had noticed that too. Sucks even worse that I bought the pump from someone else and I can't get the faceplate replaced. Guess I'll just take it over to HD and see what they say. Thanks guys

It's the cap only so You have to come up with Your own O-Ring Gasket. It is 1/2" Female Pipe Thread on the input and 1/2" Male Pipe Thread on the output. I bought a replacement for it hoping it would come w/ the screws that I needed (I am missing 2).
