Have any of ya'll had experience with a dusky jawfish? I've heard that they may eat small shrimp. Will they eat the bigger shrimp?
Thanks,
Eric

Jawfish of anykind are carnivours and will eat just about anything that will fit in their mouths, shrimp, small fish, whatever they can catch. Jawfish are one of the coolest fish available, I question its reef compatibility if you have a deep sand bed. Welcome to our group.

Every thing JimD sais is true, I had teo in a 45 breeder, I soon found out that I had a male and female, or at least thats what I think cause occasionally the female would go on a food strike and just sit in her hole for while, so I think they are mouth brooders(it this a word???) They never shared a hole though!!
