I am looking for lighting for my 29 gallon tank... Looking to make it into a reef setup... open to suggestion.
Thank you
And those of you who have used MH bulbs... that you do not want ( or are going to trash) ... I would be happy to take them off your hands.

Do u think that a lower or higher wattage bulb would make a difference?

On a serious note Mike, look at Kai's recent post. 10k 250 watt retrofit for 90 bucks.
That Nova system sure is pricey.
Russel's suggestion is very worthy.

Yes the Nova is pricey, But it's compact, good relfectors, NO FANS, and the best part is my wife tolerates the way it looks in our family room.

What is wrong with fans? As long as they are good, quiet fans then I don't see how they could be a disadvantage.

MikeC, 150Watts is plenty for a 29Gal Reef Tank.
PeeJ, Fans make noise. The fan is the PC is supposed to be the best and it bothers me!
kaiser, That's a lot of light for a 29. But lot's of light is good!
