NOT SCIENTIFIC ... but I spent money in the last month on different test kits trying to see if Salifert was good or as good. I used Red Sea, a basic lab set you get from the lfs and Accu because it was what was available. In one day checking 3 different times I came up with 3 totally different readings except for the Salifert kit. RedSea was the worst in fluctuation it went down @100ppm in 3 hrs then up 200 ppm in another 3 hrs. ..... Just thought Id share. I did this because I was curious on the correctness on the kits, and who is to say Salifert is on .... I just know it was always steady.

Consistency is the most important thing in a test kit. If your tank appears healthy and the test kit remains consistent, all is well.

Everything in the tank is good thats why I did it. Well according to the Salifert test kits. So i tried different ones to see. We test, but its not accurate as if done in a lab so I was curious and Im sold.

Thats why I use the Salifert kits only. No problems yet.
