I'm giving up my nano for a clam tank!!! I just fell in love with clams and now want a clam tank!!! I just visited clams direct and saw their show tanks and wanna buy one, but there's no prices or pics?? If anyone out there knows where I can get one please pass on the info!! I might also sell my nano! If any one's interested P.M. me. It's a 7minibow, with a custom built 36in. tall stand(black) with stainless handles, cpr aquafuge, heater. It still has the original lighting, and is currently running, but no corals or live rock. I have a few small pieces of rock in there, but nothing worth being called rock!! Will post pics ASAP

Email Barry. The prices use to be there? Having seen them they are top notch.

You could possibly also check with one of our local acrylic experts on price to make you one.

I don't wanna only be able to fit some good size clams and rock to purdify the set-up!!! And we all know that if some one weird builds it, it might come out weird:) :)

I'm thinking about a clam tank also....would prbably need to get rid of my 55 gal freshwater tank/stand first tho for the space to put it.

If you want a clams direct tank, you'd better hurry, they'r gonna discontinue them very soon, something about them not selling to good??? If you want prices and sizes, I should have a list and prices later on tonight.

Give Chris a holler, he won a Glass "Clam tank" during past meeting at Jim's place. It's made by AquaTrend.

We have took it off our web site as we committed to "X" amount of tanks that we would buy from our fabrication shop to get them build for an affordable price but we were unable to hit that number. :( We have spent a lot of money to market this tank and yes we have sold several and also some custom ones as well. :) When I spoke with Daniel Knop at MACNA this past year he told me that it would take time to market this special tank. It has done well in Europe but then again those people will spend the money where we here in the states, in most cases will not. Just like clams, the best ones go to Europe because those hobbyist will spend 200.00 + for a clam. :) Believe it or not, we here in the states do get some very nice clams but not like those in other countries.

Getting back to the subject at hand. We are still taking orders as my fabricator has agreed to extend our agreement. No doubt that this tank is the best way to view clams. If you have a green clam and look through the glass, he will be blue and you will loss the natural color.

When we started this project we had contacted several tank manufacturals and they would not take the orders as they said that it was too expensive to build so we were lucky to find this experienced person to build them for us. :) Custom work is not cheap :) as well as good quailty acrylic.
