PIcked up a green carpet anemone yesterday, and got it acclimated finally late last night.
It's set up shop in the tank and I am eagerly awaiting my true perc to move in...
Any ideas on how long it'll take?

S. haddoni carpet are fish eatter and well know to eat Ocellaris and Percula. You better hope your Percula not move into it, or else your Carpet will have A. percula snack. If you have S. gigantea, then your Percula should move right in.

Tentacles and array are different. Must keep haddoni fed. Its possible we get a species that looks like haddoni but really isn't.
I've had others tell me their carpet ate their clowns, then one day one moved in and things went better. They seem to go down the hatch when they fall asleep and the anemone closes.
There are other species of carpets. Some can sting you real good too and mess you up. Once I got it good by a yellow one and made an ambulance trip that night. 2x2 sting patch stayed around for months on my wrist. No alergies either. Careful what you do after he is established.
