Pairing similar sized maroons. It took 14 months and until they got together, they lived on opposite sides of the reef. Daily visits finally turned into one happy couple.
You may now kiss the bride --- oooooh baby :P

Yes, the seahorse has been with me since its birth in July 2002.

Awesome pictures of baby clowns in your gallery Larry!! Do you keep the pair in a seperate tank from everything else or what? Do you seperate the eggs from everything else once they're laid? I got some questions for ya Larry. I'm gonna have to learn more from you bout this. Pretty cool!!

IME the eggs will not hatch if taken from the parents, even if taken only minutes before they are due to hatch. I've tried that over and over again, only to have all the eggs die. So, I leave them in with the parents till they hatch and then my breeder tanks do an automatic separation for me while I go to sleep or whatever. They are separated in the morning and ready for culture. The active breeders are in separate utlity tanks alone at this time.
