what is it? one of his eyes is just a little foggy lookin....ive seen it before in fish, but never really bothered to inquire about it. now that one of MY fish has it, im a little worried

I've heard before that cloudy eyes are due to bad water conditions. Not sure, but you might want to make sure your levels are all in range.

yeai should check....havnt done a water change in a while. all my other inhabitants are great. just this ones. hmm.. guess ill be makin a trip to the store tommorow.

I guess some fish are more sensitive to water conditions than others

this is a new fish...as in i just got him yesterday. chances are it was like that when i picked him out and i didnt notice it.

Low pH can cause eyes to be cloudy. This I learned from my dwarf lion. Sloppy eaters or overfeeding may affect pH. I try to keep eye on buffer since I can't do much about sloppy eaters :confused: and I have two of them.
