It doesn't seem to care much about lighting conditions either. I have pieces in different tanks and it grows like crazy. I'm considering refugium use. It grows faster than grape.

that's where i have mine at, is in the refugiums. i did have some in my first reeftank, and it became a problem when it started growing over my corals and stuff. i had hope that my tang would eat it, but it never touched the stuff.

i have that same stuff in my nano, always wondered what it was.

This isn't delicate though. The stem is as big around as a pencil and very easy to pull out.
