The title says it all. All of my zoos, 8 different colors and hundreds of them are not opening. I had some weird snail/nudi looking things all over them when I came back from a cruise. shrooms and all brains still look great, water parameters are perfect, I tried doing a partial water change, what else can I do? Do I need to try a freshwater dip? If so, how long should I dip, and is it safe to do my live rock and my trachyphillia and favites brains and shrooms? I must admit I'm a little paranoid about doing the fresh water dip, but I understand that it will also kill flat worms, and i got some of those too. Is there an additive that would be better? thanks for all you help.

i bought some green stars at lfs and in a few hours i was looking at them closer and saw they had flat worms all over it. i said ''0 NO YOU DON'T, I'LL TAKE CARE OF YOU RIGHT NOW'' i got a bowl of R/0 water, took the stars out of the tank and diped it for 10 to 15 sec. the flat worms died instantly. the stars stayed in for 2 days. now they look great!

Make sure that the freshwater dip is temperature and pH adjusted. Don't need to shock the corals too much. I know that zoos and softies and LPS can tolerate this. I do not know about brains.
