Has anyone seen a neon yellow or a gold algae before I am new at this but haven't found anything as of yet on it. Sorry no pictures. This started on my live rock I got from Joshua and has spead to my base rock. Looks really cool but not sure if I should worry.

It could also be a type of sponge. I've seen yellow and orange on some of my rocks.

I have the same stuff on a flat rock that I got from Greg. So is it good to have? I am going to assume it is.

Sounds like a sargassum macro.

No not sargassum But there is a small green plant that has a litte round leaf with white tips that is startting to grow also looks pretty. The gold is showing up higher in the tank and there is green corline startting to grow beside it. Neon yellow is in the shaded areas that doesn't get a lot of light.
