today, i added the final piece to the puzzle. jimd provided me with a stout kalkwasser, so i plumbed up and cal'd my new litermeterIII to my ro/di 10gl. reservoir! and set the dose to deliver 4.75 liters a day, too easy! gonna keep an eye on calcium levels, but the ph is great! i started off with about 1/2 strength dosage to see where i'm at in the morning!
thanks jimd!

i measured the ca reactor output today, and it is reading about 400+, i think i will increase the co2 bpm abit.

Austin Aquarium has the plastic racheting hose clamps. I saw some when I was up there.

A swing of 8.34 to 8.24 is excellent!

Larry,

Alamo Aquatics has them. They are over in the corner by the register where they have a bunch of misc. supplies.

Another option to plastic clamps is get plastic wire ties and a good wire tie tool that you can adjust the tension on the tie before the cut. In the long run it would be cheaper and once the tool is paid for the ties are really inexpensive.
