Here's another good article that was referred to in the in the previously mentioned article on nutrient export. It contains data on the concentration of components in common artificial seawater mixes. I found the info on heavy metal concentrations to be very interesting.

That Shimek article was kind of the basis, I believe, for his current advocacy for aggresive protein skimming, and one of the reasons I decided to start building skimmers.
