I never thought I'd see the day when people would steal uncycled LR during transport...Yep....True story. Had 1/2 of a 200 pound shipment taken out of the boxes somewhere between Yuma and LA. My only hope is that whomever took the rock gets a good whiff of dead LR:) Is this a common problem these days? :o

The question is....did they know what they were stealing?? And if they did, is there a black market for stolen LR?

That's a strange thing to steal! If it was someone with the shipping company, you would think they would steal something a little more valuable/usable/pawnable. Even so, it is pretty stupid to not only risk losing your job, but also the chance of going to jail for stealing wet rock! Now if it was Fedex, it wouldn't surprise me if the boxes got broken open, the rock fell out in transit, and they just taped the boxes back up. The company I work for ships millions of dollars worth of equipment with them every year and it's amazing how they can lose so much stuff or damage stuff the way they do!

You guys would be surprised how much stuff just "falls" out of a truck. Heck even the big container ships going across the ocean loose one of their container every now and than. Of course the ones that are loaded with consumer electronics are more prone to that than others. :o
