I have been living in the Rio Grande Valley for the past 7 years, past 4 in Brownsville. Who else lives in Brownsville or the Valley? What sort of set up do you have? I have a 400g reef tank at home with another 100g or so of refugium and sump. It has about 250 assorted LPS, SPS, soft and clams, with an assortment of pretty cool fish. I also have another 250g tank in my office which is not quite as intensely stocked. I have lots of fragable corals and polyps to anyone who is interested and is close by.

Welcome to MAAST Oliver! I also live in Brownsville and know of 5 more people who are starting or currently have a reef. Give me a PM to meet you but it sounds that your tank is doing very well. Take a picture or two to post it for all of us to see.

Ok, I took a few pictures today. Here they are. Unfortunately, it is difficult for me to get a good shot of the whole tank, since I get alot of reflections from the outside. I will post a few pics of some of the individual stuff later.

That will be great but i have to tell you that i am not to lucky on keeping xenias i have one and has not grown more than an inche. Its because of my temp its at 82-84 i think they dont like that at all. i usually keep sps and lps also some soft corals. however ill still tread you some. I have only sps frag that i just frag them. iam thinking to give them a month so they can attach to the live rock. :D

My tank always has that temp and so far no problem; one thing you should know is that my Xenias are 5th generation and they do great on most tanks I have them in.
