Hey everyone, well, I picked up a tiny oscelares (sp*) clown at Charlies Austin Aquariums yesterday. Anyways, I go off to work this morning and dont check on my tank, when I came home I was shocked! My baby clown is now calling my Feather Duster home. totally cool, I though! Will this stress the feather duster out too much? I will get some pictures up very soon.

lol! I've got a clown with no anemone yet.
I have discovered 4 feather dusters growing so far though.
I need to take a pic and have some other things growing identified.

Mine have hosted in button polyps, a large elephant ear mushroom (or something like that), Xenia, and now a torch coral. It must be neat to see it in the feather duster!

My pair of oscellaris clowns are happily ignoring the E. quad anemone that now lives in my 100 gal tank with them. (They were in my 45, the anemone was in my nano.) They prefer the familiar candycane coral. But, they are swimming all over the tank, so maybe at some point they'll move in. I know it's not their natural host, but there are lots of stories about oscellaris clowns in E quads in aquariums.
Doesn't the featherduster retract when the clown touches it? I guess not, or you would have mentioned it.

It may keep the feather duster from opening and allowing it the find food.

Haha, now I truely feel sorry for the poor guy. When the lights are on he has learned that my Torch Coral is his buddy, but when the lights go off, he goes back to the Father Duster. Poor guy just doesnt know what happens to the Torch when the lights go off hahaha.

Wonder if this is unusual in the wild???
I guess it is the tank-raised guys who forget where they are supposed to be sometimes, unless if you are the guy clown, then you are just SOL... My female used to do the same thing to my male, but he would try to sneak in teh "back door" through the rocks so she couldn't tell he was back in bed...
