I am working on my plumbing for my tank, and need to know what PVC solvant to use that will be aquarium safe. There are a few a HD that say for potable water, are those safe to use?

If by "solvant" youre refering to primer or cleaner, Ive always use the Oatly brand from Home Depot with no adverse effects. Its the one in the yellow and white can, its clear so you dont have to look at that ugly purple mess. For cement I use Oatly medium - clear in the black and white can. HTH
