I am currently trying to connect my clam tank (from the raffle at Jim's) with a 29 as a refugium. The 29 sits under the stand that houses the clam tank. Neither tank is drilled, as since both tanks are up and running, getting them drilled at this point is not feasible. So, without drilling the tanks, how would you suggest that I plumb them together? I bought a 3/4 Sea Swirl that I want to use, but am clueless how to connect the tanks!
Any suggestions would be great!

You will need a hang on overflow box, which will take water from your tank, and drop it into the refug. and then you will need a submersable pump to pump the water back up. You can use an exteral pump and get a siphon going to pump your water back, but the submersable pump would be the best/most reliable way. The draw back is you will only be able to run the refug about 1/2-3/4 full as you will want to have some extra room for water incase of a power outage and the pump stops....

The marineland tidepool overflow boxes are very quiet also. I actually enjoy the little bit of noise mine make, but some people like the silent operation.

There's some local guy that makes decent overflow boxes. I can't remember his name, but I had one and it worked. You have to make sure you're putting enough flow through them to keep bubbles from accumulating in the j-tube.

You can also put in a small hose bib and draw any bubbles out with a powerhead.
