I would like to thank Jim Norris yet again for coming to Houston to present on his experience with clams. Overall the meeting went very well, and we all had a great time and learned a lot.
I would also like to thank all of the MAAST members that made the trip. We all had a great time at the meeting and it was good seeing many of you again, and meeting some new people too.
Personally, I also had a great time travelling around Houston to some of my favorite stores with those that came to Houston.
I am really looking forward to doing it again in the near future. I will see what I can arrange. Thanks all again.

Top notch Houston organization. Jim did a fantastic job and I learned more than I could absorb. I appreciate the people with MARSH and their hospitatlity. Aquatic Designs is a great place and if you ever travel to Houston I highly recommend stopping in. I may be a little biased though, I won a wonderful Gold Maxima in the raffle and purchased a leather coral, a toadstool and an awsome Squimosa.
Came home and spent a few hours rearanging my tank. Needed to anyway.
Thanks again MARSH.

Hello everybody,
I would like to start off by saying what an excellent turn out we had. Thanks to Jim Norris for going into great detail about clams. I would also like to thank Kim and Jim for showing us all the fish stores in Houston. Also would love to thank John from Global Fish-N-Pet for giving Chris and I a piece of orange montipora cap., which the club will benefit from later on when they are of size to frag out. Thank you everybody. Hope to see everybody real soon.

I am sorry I was unable to attend the meeting. It sounds that there was some great information shared on clams. I know we can all benefit from additional experience.
I would like to take the opportunity to thank all the M.A.A.S.T. and M.A.R.S.H. members who took the time to come by the shop, after the meeting. It was a pleasure visiting with each of you.
Nick, it was a pleasure to provide you and Chris with frags to take home. It is our way of promoting the hobby with our surrounding neighbors.
We look forward to a continued relationship with your members.
Happy Reefing!
John

Maybe we will be seeing some of you at the Moody Gardens trip and Galveston collecting trip later this month, and of course the big CC event in July. I had a great time meeting the MAAST members and those who went on the tour of some of the fish store. Maybe next time we can see the others we missed.

What a great meeting! Thank you all! First Keith your store is AWESOME! I sure by the smile on my face you could tell I was enjoying the meeting. Fellow MAAST members and MARSH members what a great bunch of people! I wish I was able to tag along to visit other LFSs but I ended up taking my kids to the Aquarium. MARSH as a club you really have your act together! JimT did I really outdraw Eric??? :D
It amazed me how many people have clams. So again thank you all for a wonderful time!

It is true! You did out draw Eric. It was a terrific meeting, and our first on a Saturday. I think that we are planning to do more Saturday meetings in the future, and see how it goes. Hopefully more of the MAAST members will be interested in making the trip for Saturday meetings.
I am looking to try to get Eric to talk on a Saturday later in the year. I think that that will be an excellent meeting too.
Once again, thanks to Jim for the incredible presentation, and also thanks to all of those other MAAST members that made the jouney. I had a great time both at the meeting and travelling to some of the local stores.
