Looks like a cerianthid a.k.a. tube anemone to me and not a worm. They are a cnidarian and in the same phylum as corals.

Techno is king at identification. I think I had the wrong name for every single coral in my tank when he came by. Now I've forgotten all the names he told me and I just make up some name and hope its right. hehe

Heh, well I took 2 years of latin in school and it actually is useful as people may call something a 'finger leather' or a 'brain coral' which can cover a vast range of species with different care requirements.

For instance 'brain coral' is used to describe:

Lobophyllia
Trachyphyllia
Wellsophyllia
Symphyllia
Platygyra
Scolymia

and a host of species that are not regularly imported.

Some are not so in need of the latin usage. Like my Opistognathus rosenblatti - well Blue Spot Jawfish sounds better and I don't sound like such a nerd.
