I was checking outmy live rock in the before I set it up and saw old brain coral and other dead coral types on there. What does it take to get coral to grow?
My current tank is as follows:
55 Gallon
Sea Clone 100 Skimmer
2 powerheads (unknown type - came with tank)
PH's are in each corner with current hitting at back of tank head on)
Penguin Bio Wheel filter - no filter/wheel, only for moving water)
2 standard 18 inch hoods with 50/50 bulbs
2 inch sand bed, 1/2 crushed coral, 1/2 live sand
45lbs of live rock, soon to be at least doubled.
