Retrieving Polyp ????

I have a couple larger snails in my tank and have noticed that there is an orange polyp looking flower (single) growing on one of their shells. Is it possible to remove and place on the rock or should I just leave it?

Pete - First, this is something that should be posted in the regular discusion area, not the For Sale/Trade area if you want to get people to help answer your questions. Second, you can try to scrape it off the shell and attach it to a piece of rock rubble with super glue gel or you can just let it grow on the snail shell. I would imagine that it will eventually come off the shell and then float around the tank's bottom. If you think you can keep an eye out for it, I would just let it grow until it falls off and then try to attach it to something.

The polyp looks to be dug right in the snails shell so I will just have to keep an eye on it.
