Are you on a wet/dry and if so have you checked to see if your skimmer discharge is being picked up by the sumps return water pump!

i had an outbreak of cyno in my refuge and there were always a billion bubbles on the surface where it was red. Maybe trapped nitrogen, or could it have been Co2 produced by the cyno colony?

no its on the sand bed and they arent there this morning im thinking it might be from the little bit of brown alge i have on the bottom of the tank. When i turn my halides on it seems to get faster though.
a friend said the same thing josh its probably the sand bed starting to cycle the tank is 3 weeks old now and still no ammonia or anything else for that matter
i did lose a regal tang to my skimmer  the fish just slid through the slots ande i woke up to him dead in my overflow. gonna put alittle
nylon screne over them if i get another small fish.
i also bought a CPR CS150 which should bring my flow up to 1600 GPH
and be allot less noise...
anyone else have one???
