I need to catch a damsel, so I can move it to another tank, does anyone know how? As soon as he sees my net he swims into my rocks, I would rather not take my rocks and soft corals out of the tank if there is any other way! Will appreciate any advice.

My best luck has been just putting a fish net in a corner of the tank for a day or two, not feeding anybody, and then using a turkey baster to squirt some frozen shrimp in the corner between the net and the glass (or even into the net) Eventually, they smell it enough to go eat that food in the net and you can trap them between teh net and the glass. Still takes a while though

I have a nurse shark that can catch it for you in a couple seconds if your interested.

lmao @ Tim, you still tryin to palm that thng off on someone?
Trap; provided the damsel eats live brine, this is foolproof, 12oz clear soda bottle, labels removed, cut the top off jurt below the shoulder, cut off opening to just larger than the fish, invert back into bottle so the opening is facing the back of the bottle, tie fishing line to end of cut off section, poke a hole in the backside of the bottle, sink said bottle in tank, inject live brine into bottle, yank string, remove fish.... I probably made it sound more complicated than it really is, hopefully you get the general drift. Ive caught many unwanted guests with this contraption.

The shark is still the most fool proof. 100% effective against any unwanted livestock!

Sorry, no returns....
