Now that I have a new tank I need some live rock and sand 8) .
And in my opinion fiji is one of the best kinds. So now I'm going to make an order for fiji live rock and sand i'm thinking about 20 pounds for me and than I thought I mit ask if any one wanted some fiji live rock for $4.00 a lb or marshall island live rock precured for $2.50 a lb and $2.50 a lb for live sand. so if I get some people who want some I'll order more than 20lb for me. if not I'll just stick to 20lb :-D

Thanks,
Jaime (PlayUnique@aol.com) :-D

Jaime,
That tank that you have is have already been drilled. B4 you decide to order your LR, you should decide if you want to plug up the hole (with that brand new bulk head I gave you). Or get a sump/pump/skimmer and plumb it up to the tank. Plumb up your tank b4 you buy anything. After you plumb it, do a dry run to make sure everything works together.

As for the Fiji Live Sand, don't waste your money on the Fiji Live Sand.

When you buy pre-cured, or cured online rock, you should see if it's OK to have stinky rock in your house for a few weeks or not. My first batch box of transhipped Fiji Live Rock stink up the house for several weeks. My roommates didn't say anything to me, but I can sense that rotten smell every time I walked into my own apartment. After you cure your rock, you'll should do a big water change.

I'll give you up to 40 gallons of pure RO/DI water for free to start up that tank.

I would just buy the rock locally. We can all sell you rock for that price and you don't have the shipping charges.
