No we don't and I am sure it will come back and bite us in the booty one day... just don't have the room/energy to keep an empty tank running... we do try to be careful buying new fish, but you never know...

Same here, but a year ago I bought a purple tang which ended up developing ick, tank was about 7 months old at time, ended up having to remove most of my live rock caught it, put it in a 30 gallon long and it ended up dying any way.....I've since learned ick does not like garlic, feeding foods high in garlic and problem solved...So should I continue power feeding garlic on new arrivals or go through trouble of setting a tank up???? Pics of my tank...

I did. This time around I will be purchasing already quarentined fish as I dont have room to qt them myself. Ill pay the premium for the peace of mind. Ive been very unlucky in the past with diseases so I try to keep my biosecurity up.
