Getting a list setup of equipment I want to have in my next build which will either be a 160 or a 185. I know I want to run a calcium reactor and a carbon reactor. As for lights in looking at the red sea lights. Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Planet now makes some pretty cool sizes and no plastic center brace. I never ran a calcium reactor, I tried my hand at a carbon reactor but removed it because my frogspawn did not like it. Not sure about the redsea lights, looks like you may need quite a few looking at their Par numbers on the BRS website. Good luck with your new build.

I've seen posts saying the new Red Sea lights are getting really hot. The transformer/converter? Box on the cords I believe. Supposedly RS is working on it but people seeing tems around 200.
