Christmas and New Years are still great holidays to be at home spending it with family's. Sometimes as shoppers we enjoy the fact most retailers are open seven days a week and most holidays. As a kid if you didn't buy it on Saturday, you had to wait till Monday. There was no Wal-mart, Target, and HEB. There were no Conveyance stores on every corner to buy gas. Instead we had filling stations that filled it up, checked oil, air, and cleaned your windshield for $.15 a gallon. Man I Am Getting OLD!

Can you imaging how much energy would be saved if that was to happen today? People staying home spending time with their families cooking a home cooked meal!

Economy up or down, every evening the restaurants are all way full. From McDonald’s to Outback. I guess it keep the economy going.
