Welp, got shocked working in the tank, did some trouble shooting and found my hydor power head leaking 85 volts into the tank!. I placed the order for 2 pp15 jebaos. I have wanted to upgrade to the wave action power heads for a while now and this was my chance. I know this will be over kill on my current 72g bowfront, i will run them as low as a need to. While planning out my equipment list for my new tank upgrade i went with the oversized power heads so i can use them in the new build.

Yeah, my old hydor leaked electricity too! I've been very happy with the newer generation of Jaebo powerheads.

D.C. Or low voltage power heads are much safer, if you are going to use 120v Tunze makes reasonable priced ones

Ended up with 2 SW15 power head. I got them on the back glass pointed at the front bow glass and turn down to low and running in cycle mode. These will move over to the new build. Very strong power heads, at low speed it will push my crushed coral sand around.
