Hey guys,

Until now I have purchased all corals and livestock from LFS. I recently found a few corals on WWC that I am thinking about purchasing. What have been people's experiences with this vendor? I have read good reviews on other boards. Interested in local reviews.

Thanks,

Like you I have heard good things about WWC, but like most online there pictures sometimes look better than in real life. Try a small order just to test?

Hey guys,

I ordered four corals from WWC. They arrived less than 24 hours after the order. Very well packed and included labels that had the same pics on the website. I drip acclimated for 2 hours and placed. They all opened right up. Color and size were actually true to the pics, with one exception. 'David Blaine Zoa' looked much bluer in the pics than what I see in my tank, even with my optimal coral light settings (optimal for visual appeal). I don't run high end LEDs or T5 so that may be the cause. I run really base BC14 stock lighting on this tank. The other three corals are all true to the photos on the website. They offer a 10 day guarantee that seems pretty solid. I will update if things go south, but I think I got what I expected. I spent $216 and anything over $200 included FedEx Overnight Priority. I was really impressed with the care taken in packaging and shipping. If anyone would like more details or video/photos, PM me.

Another update on the corals supplied by WWC.

The 4 purchased from them:

1. Bejeweled Favites.
2. PPE Favia.
3. Bubblegum Cyphastrea.
4. David Blaine Zoanthids.

To start, all of these corals are still healthy. The David Blaine Zoa is disppointment, as the color is very dull. Maybe I don't have the right lighting. I would not purchase again. The Favia is brilliant but fell off of the frag plug. I have kept all of these frags on the plugs so I can easily move and adjust for lighting and flow. I will permanently place them as I determine they are thriving. The mounting/glue for the Favia failed and I had to reglue it. While that is minor, it is bad workmanship when paying a premium.

Outside of the zoa, they all have fantastic color under multiple lighting conditions. The zoa was was quite expensive, so my net review is 6/10 for WWC, based on a single order.

I have known them for a long time. They have many branded corals.
I am placing a major order with them and will see, I have good trust in them.
