I have a U Tube on my right side that is in conflict with my glued on overflow box and need to have it go out further then turn. I have looked and most likely not doable with this or the loc systems. I was going to use some elbows and strong tubing to make my own. I would not have the flared end unless I removed from the U tube. Any other thoughts?

Can you post a pic of the issue? Its easier to understand and offer suggestions.

Take a piece of 3/4" plywood cut it to the radius of the needed U Tube. Soak it in water, place it and a straight piece of clear tubing on a cookie sheet in the oven. When the tubing gets pliable form it around the plywood slowly not to kink it. When cooled cut it to fit. If you can find a way to seal both ends of the tubing this will help so not to kink it. You can practice with a piece of sch. 20 PVC.

Do you have a picture of the completed product? Is it replacing the U tube or adding to it? I am not following what to do with straight piece and inserting it in tubing (3/4" for how long and what temp)?

I guess there is a 100KB limit as my picture is 160KB. Basically, I have a U tube that I need to have a five inch top tube to have it reach further into the aquarium from the back side. this will allow the clearance of the overflow box which the new top piece would be adjacent to

I use photobucket or tapatalk for uploading photos.

Couldn't you just create a similar u tube with PVC. It just wouldn't be clear.Or find a diameter of PVC or clear tubing that is snug around the outside of your current tube and silicone or cement the two together with weldon.

Replacing it
Acrylic stores sell clear pieces of tubing
Not sure how long and temp (why I said practice on a piece of Sched. 20
I have to ask is this the Mark of the Missed CB Pets Store?

Hmm...not sure exactly what you're describing here (can't visualize it very well). Can you post some pics to help us help you?
