Was that one that cape from me the last few year?
I have a Mille called ASD Rainbow Mille. It is orange green and yellow combination that look sorta like your, except your color is washout. Better picture/camera may show it's true color.

I've bought coral from both you and Kenny at POTO. Not sure whom I got the frag from. Either way it's doing really good. Iphone6 pics don't do it justice .

What did you buy it as BBQHillbilly?

Btw, I got a piece of the ASD Rainbow mille from Orion... magnificent! Not sure if its the same piece used for the growout contest or not but stunning.

The reason for the post was because I did not remember . I have 2 more unknowns in my collection. The other 2 may be joe the coral and the other is blue with orange pe like op.

That's a toughie. Maybe just let the frags grow out a bit first and they'll probably be really easy to identify then. I sometimes forget my pieces and once my frags grow out, I'm like... oh, there's my garf bonsai. :)

I'm usually pretty good about putting all new coral acquisitions in my excel spreadsheet as the only thing I can bank on is usually my terrible memory.

Yes I'm starting to do that. Try to name all of the zoas and all of the sps can get tricky. At the same time I buy unknown corals from the lfs then try to name it later.

Maybe marking the frag plugs would be beneficial for identification?

Marking plugs won't work for me because of the plugs get encrusted , I either put them on a rock to grow or glue it on a tile. Writing the names down is always a good idea. I know have 13 ft of coral and remembering all the names is to much.

Sorry, meant marking the bottom but that won't matter if you glue them to the rock.

ASD Rainbow Mille have a lot more polyp extension than in the picture above. Color range from red to orange green and yellow. Green polyps in low light and white polyps in high light. It is an exceptional coral.

Quick question is it milli or mille? Lol now I would think it's mille because it's spelled Millepora. Lol why is milli used so much :)
