I wanted to bring up a few minor changes that we discussed regarding meetings today that I think will benefit us all moving forward.
First and foremost, we will begin capturing attendance data starting with todays meeting. Each meeting attended will give you one point, and points can be redeemed in future drawings for an additional ticket (1 point=1 ticket). Points will expire each year and we will use the next few months as a test to see how this works for 2017. We hope this encourages more members to come to our meetings and will allow those who frequent our meetings to have better odds at our giveaways.
Second, we will be mixing up our sponsor member giveaways and focus on several medium sized items vs one large item, and reserve the larger giveaways for the swaps. An example of this being instead of say one apex valued at 250, we giveaway several jaebos valued at 35 each. This will allow more people to bring home goodies.
Third, we really would appreciate if you are planning to attend a meeting, or no longer to attend a meeting you let us know as soon as possible. We use the threads and RSVPs on here and FB in order to judge how much supplies, food, prizes etc we need to get for a meeting. There have been more than a handful of meetings in the past where we were either over or under allocated based on our RSVP lists and that equates to money that could go towards future meetings or giveaways.
