April LED Showcase @Mike's Place!

On Sunday April 10th from 2-4 PM we will be visiting Michael Zimmerman's place and taking an in depth look at the LED Fixtures the power his displays! Mike runs many different LED systems in his home including: 2x Kessil AP700's, 2x Radion Gen 3 Pros, 1 Radion Gen2 Pro, 1x Hydra 52, 1x 24'' Reef Breeder, and a 5' high output T5!

I'm there! I would like to also note that Terry at Salty Fish has been working on his shop and let me tell you; that the changes are truly epic! I've been trying to get a peek under the tent and that sneaky b@stard keeps blocking me. I'm telling you guys, he has something up his Salty Sleeves and everyone needs to come out and check out his store and gains some knowledge on some of the lead manufacturers in the LED reef lighting business.

It's going to be an epic meeting with some reefaholics in April!!!

It was great to see all of Mike's beautiful tanks and I learned a lot as always. There was a large turnout of charter members at the BOD meeting and I really feel they moved our club even further forward with their ideas. This was not just a BOD meeting, it was a group meeting with everyone's goal being finding ways to help, education and improve MAAST. Kudos to all of you that attended and presented your great ideas. We hope to see more of you participate in the future. I will post the BOD meeting minutes very soon and there are some great changes coming to MAAST.

Absolutely agreed Cheryl, this meeting to me really reminded me of a Maast bbq at Aces in 2012. Just a bunch of fish nerds eying a tank and talking about the hobby. Definitely one of my favorite meetings in recent memory. Thank you so much to Mike and Rebecca for hosting today and to everyone who came out and gave their input on the changes we've been making!
