I ordered a few anthias online and to get free shipping I had to spent another 50$ so I did took a chance got greedy and ordered flame Angel . Now a bit concerned since I have a beautiful large blue Squammie that have been a show of my reef and worrying whether it be ok now angel and clam in a same tank . I am feeding my tank heavy every day but still would like 1st hand experience with this dwarf angel if any members have kept em in a mixed reef .
On the note I have never kept Angels

I've got one in mine. He picks at acans every once and a while but not enough for me to want to get rid of him. I also have a large clam and he hasn't touched it.

Tough call, I always hear it was safe at first til one day. I would keep it in a sump for now while rethink thru.

I had to get rid of my acans because it was tearing them apart. I'm in the process of removing it from my tank. Love the fish, but can't deal with his taste buds.
I don't have a clam. So can't speak to that

When I had a clam and Flame together, I never had an issue

He's 2" as advertised ,Coming in tomorrow won't be a problem for me to keep em in sump with that size until I make a decision . With all these years of reef keeping I have never kept an angel . Although I am really excited about getting Ventrallis anthias that are coming in also .Would bring some memories back from past years I had em

I keep 5 Flame angels in my 350 gal. No problem with my clams and SPS. No problem with the few LPS I have either. Do feed them well, this will drastically decrease the possibility of them bother clams or corals. I do have a lot of clams, including my 28 inches T. gigas in my tank.
