anyone know of a shop that can change the back piece of glass on a tank locally? I found a 150 gallon tank someone was throwing away the other day, the back piece of glass has a pretty large chip missing out of the corner, its been holding water since sunday without any issues but i would feel better about using it if i can get the piece replaced. Thanks

I don't know of any in San Antonio however seems like I remember hearing about one in Austin. Don't recall their name or anything though.

I know people have mentioned forever pets in the past, they are local. I can't speak to their quality of work but I know they re-seal tanks.

Toy at Forever Pets is the only one in town I know of. Word of caution, had them reseal a leaking 75g, started leaking again less than a year later.

I've heard about 50/50 on Forever pets as far as the quality and longevity of their reseals.

Make them give you a warranty period.

Sounds like this is going to turn into a diy project. Thanks for the input and reviews of forever pets. I was less than thrilled with them based on the phone contact so I will just save the money and do it myself.
