I have been using one for 10 years. You need to use the sulphur pearls for best results. Also monitor your alk closely it will drop. Aqua medic sales the sulphur pearls

I've got the korallin which is exactly the same just different brand running on my 180. Works good. Just keep the water going into it as clean as possible, and constantly check the drip coming out of it. If not you will end up with a big stinky mess inside of it.

Do half sulphur pellets and half aragonite to help balance. I use the corse caribisea a.r.m. Media on the top half and their sulphur media on the bottom half.
Water is fed into it using a aqualifter pump (and filter). Then you adjust the "drip" output coming out of it. First week open it up full blast to get all the bubbles out of it. Then adjust the drip to about 1 drip every 2 seconds.
---very important--- make sure the drip line is secure and the water exits above the water level so it actually drips into the sump. Preferably into a high flow area, and somewhere you can easily see it. Check the drip rate often because it will slow down over time.
It will take a few weeks to see any change in nitrates.
