With LMAR right around the corner, let's talk about what you should be bringing to the frag swap!
Heres what I'd recommend you bring!
Cash, particulatly small bills- although many will, not all vendors will be able to take credit cards so in these cases cash is king. Vendors will prefer small bills as it'll be easier for them to make change.
Credit cards- with the invention of square and other similar mobile based credit card platforms it's always good to bring some plastic to the swaps!
Cooler- swaps are usually fairly long and you want to ensure that your corals are not too warm or too cold during the event. Adding a heating or cooling pad to keep them nice and happy can often times mean the difference in a thriving coral or coming home with a dead coral. We will be selling small coolers at the swap in case you want one!
Notepad- with so many different conditions and parameters, I like to carry around a notepad to document the conditions that my purchased corals were in before I got them. It makes acclimation easier and you'll have the info to refer to later.
