So I'm upgrading my lights here and love everything about ecotech. Wondering if anyone one might have an opinion on what size to get. I have a 36 gallon bowfront that's about 30.5 inches long. I've been looking at the xr15w for my tank just can't find anything on if this will have enough spread for the tank. Do I need the xr30's for my tank? Any help is appreciated

You'll need the XR30. I have both and the xr15 is only good for 24" diameter at most.

I second what Dkray said. I'm overly conservative when it comes to lighting and would rather have more light and lower the intensity then run something at full power with wide angle lens. I would suggest the pro version this way you can throw the side angle lens on if you need to.

Awesome thanks for the advice. found a local place that does a payment plan so i won't be out so much all at once. Pretty darn happy about that
