Didnt aee this until now, but I honestly find rhodactis mushrooms to be my favorite softies by far. Not a bad color but they will take over your rock work if you let them. I'm also quite fond of toadstools as well zoanthids, particularly blue, yellow, and orange color morphs.

I think that statement could stand for most if not all softies including Green Star Polyps and Shrooms. But if you want a carefree tank that looks great, softies are the way to go.

Lol very true, for some reason I can grow the crap out of Xenia but my gsp isn't growing fast at all

They both compete for the same nutrients. The person I sold the tank to did not want the Xenia so he slowly killed it off by dipping the rocks one at a time in Fresh Water. It didn't take long for the GSP to take over.

One of my favorite softies is Sympodium. To me it is truly beautiful and doesn't spread like many other soft corals. I found that it prefers low light and low flow.
