MAAST
After purchasing a piece of property in Martindale this summer and now moved out to Lockhart I am no longer going to have the time to fill my role as President for MAAST. We will be spending all of our free time on the weekends out in Martindale getting the property ready to build our home on and then of course getting our home built.
You have all been a pleasure to work with over the last year and I wish you all and MAAST nothing but the best.
Take care and happy reefing. :)

Dean, you've done a tremendous deal for this club and honestly, without your drive in righting the ship, I'm not sure if there would be a MAAST. You leave big shoes to fill and I hope one day to be able to say I've done a fraction as much for this club as you have. Have a good one buddy, and enjoy the new home.

Dean, I appreciate all that you've done for the club. I'm thinking 2 yrs or so you'll start to get the itch again to get back into the hobby. When you do let me know and I hook you up with some nice corals to get it going.

Dean you have done a great job as our President and will be missed. Board members and especially our President puts in a bunch of time to make this club work. Dean with building a new home I would think comes a new aquarium, so keep us informed.

Good luck Dean on your future endeavors. You've done a good job for MAAST, always willing to help. Dean had volunteered to deliver corals from Austin to SA on more than one occasion which was very much appreciated. Good luck on the new property!

Wow, I just saw this. Just promise me that you will not sell your equipment! You know you will get that itch and at least you will have all of your gear to start back up vs. buying it all brand new. I will miss you as President my friend. Take care and keep us posted on the progress with you house!

Sounds to me like this should be a build thread, for a nice in wall tank. You'll be back, we always come back.

I have a fish room and it is so nice to have everything in one place, except I had to have a tank in my office and one in the living room. Can't work in the office without the sound of water and watching seahorses and the DT in my living room will be beautiful someday with lots of softies to go with the seahorses. LOL
Best of luck with your new house and let everybody know when your new tank/tanks are ready.
