I have this little guys popping up in my tank. They look like little zoas but spread like weeds randomly all over the tank. What's the best way to kill them? Aiptasia x maybe?

I have a similar issue with Texas trash palys. I started using aptasia X, and they seem to melt away when I inject them. However, becareful if you decide to do it this way. The byproduct of these palys can be toxic to the tank if you destroy too many of them. I would say remove the rock if you can and bake it out in the sun then fresh water.

I agree with Troy remove the rock, but whatever you do, do not cook the rock. A few have gotten sick from cooking rock with Palys.

It's not as pretty, but when you do a water change, (wearing shoulder length gloves( you can use a blade to scrape off the polyp and then cover the base in a coralline algae colored epoxy. To dress it up, take a small piece of coral rubble and place it over the epoxy. This will cover it up and give you more places to mount frags from. May not be the option for you, but it works great in my SPS tank. Plus, you can make little "homes" for your amphipods and Copepod to hide out in.
