I am going to put a media reactor in the second chamber with k1 as the media. I ordered the reactor today and I already have k1. Right now it just has some rock rubble and some sponges. I am a little worried about extra heat from another pump running.

I had a reactor running in it before with the pump in the 3rd chamber and never had any high temp issues. It will be fine.

There are several little pollups and a mushroom that have popped up. I am liking the jbj ato on this biocube. I havent added any more rock or sand. Just some macro algae.

Added 2 more banggai cardinals, I moved my mag rocks and a few other rocks from my 125, and there is a long spine urchin hiding in the back that I got.

I always find it creepy how they just float there not really moving. My wife loves those banggai cardinals.

I ended up setting the cpr mini reactor with k1 in my quarantine tank to break in the k1. It is not easy to take in and out so I am doing the break in elsewhere. Due to the fact that I will have to add more k1 as the media starts to sink, It just made more sense. I also did not need yet another pump in my 125 heating the tank up.

Its a kessil a150. Im still working out what I am doing with this tank. It seems to provide a happy place for sps based on the PE I get. I have cardinals in it right now.

I bought the tank off dean and what rock and coral is in it is what was left in the tank and grown back. I added a few frags, some macro algae and gsp and the cardinals of course.
I also just added a rw-4 pump and i am loving it. I probably have too much flow for some of my coral but the sps should love it.

I think it is a very small bta. Very white though.

Are you sure it's not pineapple sponges? Hard to tell from that image for me at least.

No i dont think so. The tentacles are thin and long with bubble tips. I have those sponges all over my 125. I could be wrong though i guess.

Yeah, I see what you mean now. I've never had a bubble tip, that would be a pretty sweet find though. Keep us updated for sure. Let's see if it moves.

I didnt see it when i got the frag. If it were pineapple sponges they sure are clustered really close together. There doesnt seem to be the fine bristles at the ends like the sponges. I moved the frag up and white tentacles were swaying.

Well whatever it was, it moved and has disappeared. I really like this tank and I see better growth and happy corals in this tank, as opposed to my 125. Funny thing is this tank has so much less equipment.
