Picked up my frag today from David and wow what an amazing set up he has.

Here's the deal, since I had such a long drive I just dipped and placed them in my tank tonight. Tomorrow I plan on getting out the tape measure an jotting down some specs. I'll be recording height and overall diameter of growth. I'll try to get these measurements every 7 days and graph them accordingly. I'll throw in some fun stastical analysis so we can see if any growth was significant.

I'll be housing this in a 12 gallon nano cube, with a Radion Gen 2 Pro running a custom light schedule 12:12. Running filter floss, and chemi pure blue, no skimmer, 1L water changes QOD with Aqua Vitro salt.

Food includes Tisbe biminiesis, Tigriopus californicus, Artemia comprises, oyster-feast , cyclop-eeze, aqua vitro fuel.

Don't think I'm forgetting anything there. Pictures and measurements to follow.

Alright some pictures are up. I was looking for my clear mm ruler but I think it's at work.

Today is what I'm calling day 0 initial measurements. The base of the coral has yet to even reach the plug so that measurement is not possible as of now.

Phosphate 0.12 ppmMagnesium 1400 ppm
Alkalinity 2.5 Meq/l or 7 dKH
Calcium 400 ppm

The Phosphate is an issue of having to be away for a couple days and not being able to change filter floss. The magnesium is a little low for me, and that was an error on amazon losing two shipments on me and that will slowly begin to rise for a few days.

The competition isn't even off the ground yet man. You can't be out. How long was it in your tank?

4 days. Completely my fault. I've been bringing my magnesium up to combat bryoposis.

I was debating doing it because of that reason. But I figured why the hell not. The worst that could happen is I end up with no acro just like I was at the start.
