Alton those palys don't look very good. Have they opened at all for you?

No they didn't and then my wife's Jawfish moved the plug next to some zoo's and they melted

Pictures taken 7/26/2015 The Zoo/Paly is under BML 12K 20 gallon, the SPS was moved up on the rocks, but I left the LPS on the sand in my 300. Metal Halides in this tank are only running 3 hours a day until September, when hopefully it cools off and I can increase to 6 hours.

Thanks, so far my angelfish are leaving the LPS alone. And I have not caught my female flame angel picking on the SPS. She has never killed an SPS but she loves to peck on them.

actually the words are "out of control". I set up some rock structures, and corals in the back center and have no way to get to them other than use my wife's cooking tongs. If I ever change tanks it would be to a 30" or 27" deep tank. I like the 27" tall and 72" long part. If it was a room divider it would be okay, I just like being able to use my hands in my tanks to reach and fix anything.

Two week update

Update for 9/21/2015 Looking at my SPS I may move it to a 40 gallon breeder that is low nutrient, because I am tired of the brown color. If there is a rule about not moving Corals into another tank please let me know? The LPS I am going to move up, and the softy now has at least 3 heads maybe 4. My wife's jawfish decided to bury it, so I had to dig it up, luckily it did not kill it.

I did a water change yesterday and noticed a total of 5 heads. I am not a big Zoo/Paly person so I am not sure why something sits there and then heads magically appear?

Just keep on being mystified and you will always be in a state of amazement in this hobby. Oh and by the way the narggles did it.

Well the only thing that improved was the Zoo's, it went from two to five. Other than that no real growth on the LPS or SPS. I actually moved my SPS to my frag tank, we shall see if that helps it in the coming year. I will probably move the LPS to my wife's tank, hopefully the jawfish don't cover it up

Now its time to relax, I wonder if I can get Alamo Brewery to sponsor my tank?
